
Following on from Day 114: Spider Eggs, I was able to shoot another arachnid mum-to-be from a better angle today.
You can clearly see the spider eggs inside the blue egg sac.
You might also note that she was waving her front pair of legs toward the camera lens, in an attempt to send me packing!
She and her brood were on the underside of a runner bean leaf, but this mother hadn’t done such a good job of cocooning herself as the spider in the previous photo.
I’ll be keeping an eye on her and with a bit of luck, I might sneak a capture or two of the spiderlings when they hatch.
