365 Day Photography Project Day 576: [Spider] Watching You Watching Me Watching You...

Today’s photo is a lesser garden spider; Metellina segmentata (Family Tetragnathidae).

I particularly liked the perspective of this shot along with the fact that the spider’s eyes are clearly visible. She appears to be constructing a quick fix to her tattered and torn web – you may just see a single strand of silk originating from a spinneret in her abdominal area.
