A Lauxanid fly, possibly a Pseudolyciella sp. (Diptera).
This fly is greyish in colour, with darkened lines of bristles along it’s thorax. It has the familiar, large red eyes, common to a great number of diptera and you can plainly see a pair of tiny toes at the end of each leg.
The fly’s wings fold snugly together over it’s abdomen, as opposed to sticking out at an angle whilst at rest, as observed in a number of other species.
