365 Day Photo Project Day 588: Now You See Me, Now You Don’t [Spider]

Observing this European Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus) huddled on a twig, with his eight sprawling limbs tucked up tightly over his eyes, reminded me of a baby playing hide and seek. The baby typically thinks covering his head hides him from the world – he can’t see you, so you can’t see him! Wonder if spiders think like that too…
