365 Day Photo Project Day 640: Don’t Know What It Is About Tulips...

I don’t know what it is about tulips (Tulipa), but I’ve yet to produce a photo of them that I’m thoroughly happy with!

Tulips By The Lake (Day 354) was a pleasing enough image (although, as I touch on there, it may well have reaped benefits from better composition), but it didn’t truly capture the essence of the flower.

Today’s image of a tulip bud about to open up is a disappointment too; try as I might, a more agreeable perspective for the shot, evaded me. So I still don’t know what it is about tulips…
